Nurgle Army update... say Cheese!

Here is a group shot of my Current Nurgle Army.  As it stands I have around a 1000+ point that is not quite functional but definitely playable.  On the first row from left to right we have a Defiler, Rhino, Summoned Greater Daemon, Daemon Prince.  Second row starts off with 3 Plague Spawn, 10 Plague Marines, and 2 Obliterators.

So what do you think I should add next? or should I wait to see what the new Chaos Codex has in store?

  1. Next logically unit to add would be lesser daemons. With no actually model in the Chaos range that is dedicated to Lesser Daemons they are an opportunity to let your imagination run wild. Would love to see what dark twisted creepies your mind would create for them.

    Great work mate!

  3. I find your lack of Nurglings...disturbing.

I don't understand how so much awesome can stand on one table. I would expect the table to snap in half. We are talking "Randy Savage" levels on the Aweso-meter here, folks.

  4. They look great. So many awesome centrepiece conversions. I would suggest some more plague marines. You need them to increase your troop selections. Why not go crazy with guts and bellies and sores on a few of them. Corrupt them like your other models. Who needs two legs? Go crazy!

  5. Thanks for the suggestions and positive comments. It is appreciated. More Plague Marines and Lesser Daemons coming up... Maybe some sort of mini-Spawn/Beasts of Nurgle for the lesser daemons, and maybe some sluggish or spider looking Plague Marines.

  6. Another cool factor model would be Plague Marines riding big maggots or beasts of Nurgle as "counts as" bikers. But the sensible part of me says to go with more troops.

  7. Yeah, more troops is a must, and at this point I could only make 4 more to have 2 squads of 7, but then I will need another Rhino to boot. But damn, toughness 6 bikers does sound fun...
